"Bodhisattva"
Linda Constant Robinson (Constant is her signature name) explores line and color in her new works of florals, landscapes and Tibetan Prayer Flags. This solo exhibition “Between the Lines” includes images inspired by Arizona skies and Buddhist influences. Through her travels to Myanmar (Burma), Cambodia, and Thailand she gleans images to create a tapestry of expressive and visual icons. The paintings are blended with bold color and bold lines. The compositions have hints of saffron robes, blue never ending skies, mountains with expansive horizons and florals of stillness. While Linda Constant Robinson is inspired by visiting distant places she always returns to her solitude in her studios in Frederick MD and in Arizona where these inspirations become paintings.
