COLLEEN CLAPP AND RHONDA J SMITH
From June 6 - June 29, TAG/The Artists Gallery features Paintings by Colleen Clapp and Prints by Rhonda J Smith.
Colleen Clapp’s exhibit,
Unadorned Truths of Nature, takes inspiration from the environment.
Deviating from pure abstraction and captivated by the serenity of Japanese design, Clapp uses a neutral color palette in her latest body of work.
Rhonda J Smith presents graphite drawings and linoleum prints in her exhibit The Power of Place inspired by the Antietam National Battlefield.
Places hold the history of what came before only as long as we care to acknowledge the power of place within our national discourse.
