Donna Quesada

Ceramic Artist

Donna Quesada was born and raised in Maryland. Her early roots for the creative arts were anchored in the theater, dance and music. She had a passion for drawing and painting at a young age. She lived in Southern California for nine years raising her young family, but returned to her home in Maryland where she started formal art training in Frederick Maryland. For the past 20 years she has explored and developed her skills in acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, as well as oil painting medium.  

She has a passion for expressing her experiences in her daily life and travel and has quite a collection of watercolors works in her numerous sketchbooks. “ See the extraordinary in the ordinary daily life experiences is a gift”. She has also added ceramic arts to her resume, which she often adds her illustrations to the surface design. Her work is exhibited in the Frederick, Maryland area and she is a resident artist of the Griffin Visual Art Center.
