“Sweet Dreams”
These mixed-media works can hang separately or in site-specific modular groupings. Pajama Days contains 16 works made up of vintage sleepwear, drawings, paint, book pages, and more. "This project was started during the COVID 19 lockdown with what was on hand. The title reflects the fashion choices of that time," says Peacock." Also on view is National Treasures: a subjective selection of 25 great Americans.
TOM SEMMES
”Sunlight & Water”
These paintings, done in oil paint on canvas or paper, are landscapes from local scenes in Frederick or from travels in France and Italy. They reflect Tom's long-held interest in capturing the nuances of light and changing seasons. Most of the paintings were started outdoors and then finished in the studio, from memory or photographs. All of his work features an almost tangible sense of light and a sense of atmosphere.
