Brady Wilks, an artist, author and educator focuses on the contemporary uses of alternative and historical photographic processes including methods such as wet plate collodion, acrylic gel lift / transfers, and many other pre and post-photography processes. Being connected to his subjects while crafting the work by hand is a very important part of his art and overall resolve.
Brady holds an Master of Fine Arts in photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and is currently exhibiting, guest lecturing, instructing workshops and writing.
His book Alternative Photographic Processes: Evidence of the Photographer’s Hand published by Focal Press, will be available starting early 2015.
